SSC CPO Eligibility:

To apply for SSC CPO Recruitment 2023, the candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria. They need to meet 3 criteria for SSC CPO 2023 Exam. See the eligibility criteria below-

SSC CPO Educational qualification:

• Sub Inspector in Delhi Police & CAPFs: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University.

• For Sub Inspector in Delhi Police (Male Candidate only) – Male candidates need a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) by the date of Physical Tests. If not, they cannot take Physical Tests.

SSC CPO Exam Age Limit

The age limit of the candidates should be from 20 to 25 years i.e.

• Minimum Age Limit – 20 years
• Maximum Age Limit – 25 years

The candidates born not before 02.01.1998 and not later than 01.01.2003

Here are the steps to apply online for SSC CPO Recruitment 2023:

1. Visit the official website of the SSC www.ssc.nic.in.
2. Click on the “Apply” tab and select the “CAPF” option.
3. Click on the link for the “SSC CPO 2023 Exam” and read the instructions carefully.
4. Register yourself by providing your basic details and generating a registration number and password.
5. Login with your registration number and password and fill out the online application form with your personal, educational, and contact details.
6. Upload your scanned photograph and signature as per the prescribed format and size.
7. Pay the application fee online through a debit card, credit card, net banking, or e-challan.

SSC CPO Vacancy 2023 Selection Process

The selection process for SSC CPO Vacancy 2023 consists of four stages:

Paper-I:

This is an online objective test of 200 marks and 2 hours duration. It has four sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. Each section has 50 questions and 50 marks. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Endurance Test (PET):

This is a qualifying test to assess the physical fitness and endurance of the candidates. The candidates have to meet the prescribed physical standards and perform certain physical tasks such as running, jumping, and throwing.

SSC CPO PET and PMT

The SSC CPO Physical Test (PET and PMT) will be conducted for the candidates who will qualify for SSC CPO Prelims Examination. The Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) details for the male and female candidates for the SSC CPO 2023 are given below.

Paper-II:

This is an online descriptive test of 200 marks and 2 hours duration. It has only one section: English Language and Comprehension. It tests the writing skills, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension of the candidates.

Medical Examination:

This is the final stage to check the medical fitness and health of the candidates. The candidates have to undergo a medical examination by a board of doctors appointed by the SSC. The candidates have to meet the prescribed medical standards and criteria for vision, hearing, blood pressure, etc.
