NEET 2022 UG Exam: For the admission of eligible candidates to undergraduate medical courses in medical institutions, NEET (UG) 2022 will be conducted by National Testing Agency. The exam for National-Eligibility-cum-Entrance-test NEET (UG) 2022 will be conducted online mode.
The National Eligibility Cumulative Admission Test (UG) 2022 is one of the most important medical admission tests to be held this year. It is used to admit students into medical courses such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BHMS.
The NEET 2022 exam date is not available on the official website. The official website for the NEET examination, which is set to take place in 2022, does not list a date. However, on the online platform neet.nta.nic.in, it says that the exam will take place in “late June or early July 2022”.

NEET Exam 2022 Application Fee
Candidates who are interested in appearing in the upcoming NEET Exam 2022 should pay the required examination fees and application charges through any of the modes of payment- debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI Mode of Payment. (GST (18%) plus Service/processing charges per transaction are to be paid separately from application fees).

How to Apply Online for NEET 2022 Exam?
If the candidates don’t fill out the application form once, they won’t be able to get into the NEET admit card and their candidature will be forfeited for upcoming examinations.
- Visit the official website of the National Testing Agency: https://neet.nta.nic.in OR use the direct links available above.
- To begin the online registration process, enter your or your parent’s unique Email Id and Mobile No.
- Write down the system-generated Application Number and fill in the Online Application Form.
- Please upload duly scanned images of Candidate’s latest Passport size Photograph (size: 10 kb to 200 kb), Post Card size photograph (4”X6”) (Size: 50 kb – 300kb) and Candidate’s Signature (file size: 4kb – 30kb), Left hand thumb impression (file size: 10 kb-50 kb) in JPEG/JPEG format. (In case of any eventuality of left thumb being unavailable, right-hand thumb impression may be used.) Also post Class X Passing Certificate (file size: 100 kb to 400 kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
- In photographs, the focus needs to be on the face (80% face coverage, ears visible, and on a white background).
- Pay the application fee and keep the transaction slip for future reference. If a candidate doesn’t generate the Confirmation Page on their first attempt, they can make another transaction of a fee to get the Confirmation Page.
- After successfully submitting the application form, you will receive a Confirmation Page. You can take a printout of this page to keep as your record of success.
NEET 2022 Required Documents
All the documents required for filling out an Online Application Form must be scanned images, to be uploaded as part of the submission process. Candidates must possess the following documents scanned in the prescribed size and format.
- Latest Passport size Photograph with white background (size: 10 kb to 200 kb)
- Post Card size photograph with white background (4” x 6”) (Size: 50 kb – 300 kb)
- Signature (size: 4 kb to 30 kb)
- Left-hand thumb impression (In case of any eventuality of left-hand thumb being unavailable, right-hand thumb impression may be used.) – file size: 10 kb to 50 kb)
- Class X Passing Certificate (file size: 100 kb to 400 kb)
If the candidate makes an error, the correction window will be opened for making changes in Particulars of Application Form on the official website only and for a limited period.
NEET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should ensure that they meet the NEET 2022 eligibility criteria before filling out the NEET 2022 registration form. Here are some of the prerequisites:
- At the time of admission, students must have completed the age of 17 years. After that, they will need to complete the minimum age requirement on or before 31 December of their first year in medical courses at UG.
- The upper age limit for NEET is 25 years. The upper age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC-NCL category and PwD Candidates is 05 years.
Candidates Qualified for NEET 2022 must meet the following criteria:
- The candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology at the qualifying examination.
- For candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, or Other Backward Classes (NCL) s, the minimum marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology taken together in qualifying examination shall be 40% marks instead of 50% marks for Unreserved and General-EWS Candidates.
- The minimum marks required for a PwD candidate as per the norms set by National Mobile Cell Council (NMC), Central Cell Marking Committee (CCIM) and Board of Computer Chemistry & Technology (BoGCCH) will be 45% instead of 50%.
- The students who have received education abroad and wish to seek admission into medical colleges in India must have passed physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology, and English with 50% marks in class 12.
NEET 2022 Exam Pattern (New)
The revised exam pattern for NEET (UG) has been released by NTA along with the detailed previous year notification.
- According to the new exam pattern, there will be two sections in each subject consisting of 35 questions in Section A and 15 questions in Section B (out of which 10 are optional).
- There will be 200 questions, out of which 20 are optional. Each correct question carries 4 marks.
- The 2022 NEET (UG) – “Pen & Paper-based Test” will be answered using a specially designed machine that gradates sheets of paper using a Ball Point Pen.
- With each incorrect answer, you will get a negative mark (-1).
- The NEET 2022 Exam will take 3 hours (180 minutes), which is an amount that is equal to the length of a typical workday.
