Candidates must have Bachelor of Fisheries of Fishery Science (B.F.Sc) from any recognized university.

Candidates who have performed well in the selection stages of the OPSC AFO Exam will be shortlisted for posts as Assistant Fisheries Officer. There will be two stages for OPSC AFO Selection Process.

OPSC AFO Exam Pattern

The OPSC AFO written exam will consist of 02 papers. Paper 1 and Paper 2 will have 200 questions each carrying 02 marks for each question. The duration for each paper is two hours and thirty minutes. The minimum qualifying marks in both papers will get you called for an Interview Round. The Interview, which has a weightage of 100 marks, will be conducted at the end of the process.

OPSC AFO Salary

The Assistant Fisheries Officer (AFO) posts which are Group B category posts will be provided with a lucrative salary of Rs. 44,900/- per month. The OPSC will provide this amount to the candidate in Level 10 of ORSP Rules, 2017.
